Circle Children’s Sunday School is where kids learn to be disciples of Jesus in a safe, fun, and friendly environment and are taught to know God up close and personal while learning biblical truths to last a lifetime. Our interactive, lively, and age appropriate Sunday school classes are from 9:00 am to 10:15 am and include pre-K through 6th grade.
We also provide clean, safe, well staffed nursery and toddler rooms; Kinder church for children 3-5 years during the morning worship service message; and Junior Church during the school year for children in 1st through 6th grade.
All Children's Ministries teachers are screened, dedicated and committed to accurately teaching children God’s Word. Carolyn Langford leads this ministry with over 30 years experience in teaching and directing children.
As a leader is children's ministry for nearly 60 years, Awana has aided parents and churches worldwide in raising children to know, love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. The name Awana is taken from the first letters of II Timothy 2:15 which states that "Approved workman are not ashamed..."
Awana is fun! The fun factor is what draws children to Awana and it’s what keeps them coming back. While having fun, the children are learning and growing in the Lord. They learn that God is real and He is with them always, helping them in their daily lives. And most of all, children learn that God loves them and that He has expressed that love for them through Jesus Christ!
Our Awana clubs are broken into three segments: Game Time, Handbook Time, and Coucil Time.
In Game Time individual and team competition takes place through Awana Game Square games and playground favorites. Every kid gets involved every night and has a chance to unleash his or her energy.
During Handbook Time children work one-to-one with a trained leader to complete Bible assignments. Awana emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses that show how to know God and walk with Him. A series of awards and trophies reward achievements at every level of a child’s progress.
Council Time is a time for singing, announcements, award distribution and a practical Bible message.
Our Awana program includes clubs for children 3 years through 8th grade. Special events such as Awana Games and Bible Quizzing competitions add excitement to the year.
Our middle-school program is customized for teens. A more flexible format encourages young people to grow through devotionals, individual and group Bible studies, Christian service and a lot of fun!
