Thrive Youth

We exist as a student ministry to glorify God through serving Him locally and globally, to disciple students, and to worship Him with our lives. We desire to be known and remembered for our passionate hearts that seek only after God! And, we love to have fun doing it!

Worship is a key to ministry at Thrive. We have talented H.S. students involved each week that worship through music. We have students that worship through community service and volunteering at church. And, we have students that worship through prayer partnerships and fasting. We desire to see each student with an opportunity to express a heart and lifestyle of worship to God.

Our goal is not just to increase numbers as a youth group, but to increase the depth of passion and commitment to follow Christ. The world is full of battles that can only be won with the wisdom and strength of our Savior. Each week through Bible study we seek to not only be encouraged through Scripture but to be challenged by the truth of Scripture and how it should affect the way we live.

Our verse of challenge is from Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice.” We long to be a people that thrive in Christ, and through that we hope to give others a reason to rejoice!

Student Pastor

Josh and Kim Josh Harris, Student Pastor of Thrive Youth, has been working with youth since 2004. Josh attended New Tribes Bible School in Jackson, Michigan where he met and married his wife Kimberly. Soon after finishing Bible College he was brought on staff to lead the Student Ministry at Circle Community Church.

The son of missionaries, Josh grew up overseas and still has a passion for Global Missions. He also has a passion for chocolate chip cookies!
